Quiet Morning
This f 22 ISO 100 3 frames +/- 3 ev. 2 sec, 15 sec, 120 sec.( center should have been 30 sec.). I love this place left for ruin in 1971 then brought back in 1985 but still renovations continue to this day, the old scraped paint look, the brick texture and the dead quite (ha ha!). When doing night shots (for a long duration) and not turning off the camera to let the sensor cool you get noise. Every capture is an experiment. I had read on one website that +/- 1 ev did not do much more than +/- 2 ev. This one three frames at +/- 3 ev, reason that palm on the porch was blowing around a lot. Should of done 7 frames at +/- 1 ev there probably wold have been less noise. Every book and web site never really make any statements on the capture, the ev separation for detail/color but everybody talks about the PP. Think about it in just Photomatix with all the presets one set of captures will produce some hundreds of results just pick one to your liking. But at night there is more noise to contend with and long exposure comp. only does so much. This was Post Processed with Oloneo PhotoEngine then Lightroom develop then Nik Color Efex Pro 4.
