The Hotel Porch
Quiet at 3 am. Just looked at it and new it was for HDR. The porch deck is a light green. BUT my T2i will not capture past 30 sec. This was done with a Promote Control at +/-2 ev set at .3 ev, f 16, 8 sec, 30 sec, 120 sec. PP Photomatix, Nik Define, Color Efx Pro 4, Lightroom Develop module. I am going to go back to a capture the same only this time at 1 ev increments (vs 2) out to +/- 2 or 3 ev just to see if .1 increment reduces signal to noise in post process. Trying to stay at 100 iso and f 16 up for depth and clarity. I was going to do it that night but it was 3 am been there since 10 pm doing the moon thing was on my second battery and my wife waiting in the hotel room and humid (wiping the lens between shots) 85 degrees but no bugs(covered with stuff).

on June 21, 2014Thanks to one in all. All are so kind. I have been busy processing my other captures from this night 6 hrs worth of experimentation with light capture at night. I looked back at this and scrolled down and WOW. I did not know anyone was looking. I thank you so much for the great comments, I am still in the learning curve with few but good tools but welcome look around enjoy the views.
