Georgia
Helen Ga Main Street Sunset. Got a gift of an old Lightroom 3.0 from by brother (he was upgrading to 4.0) for my birthday read about Nik Software some time ago and thought it was for Nikon's like the Canon software that comes with your Canon camera. I was just using Photomatix and had just bought myself the Promote device for my birthday. Got the coupon price for Nik Software downloaded it and played with it. This shot is an extreme 13 shot at .3 F stop scale (basically +/- 2 F stop) using the Promote (just playing you never see untill pp!) trying to get a low noise image the way I read about doing it and losing the dust bunnies. There were many, many cars on the road and a few people moving through going to the restaurant to the left (the people never showed up in any images due to not being a light source and the cars were mostly hidden by the bridge). during the five minutes or so for it to complete. Nik HDR Pro 2 allows you to choose an image to use and I found one with just some tail lights on the furthest knoll But the American flags were moving just tooo much (I should have taken a couple of sports shots and combined with the centered HDRi shots). Then Defined (denoised), I used a Circular Polarizer on capture But you know guys with new toys, then Viveza 2 it, then discovered the filters of Color Efex Pro 4 (wow that took some time, just tooo! many choices for a guy), then Sharpener Pro 3 (outstanding). Then Lightroom well the bunnie removal was a miracle just a miracle (should have done first) but the most informative was the lens correction, I have looked up my lens on Canon's site and it is never on the list Now after using Lightroom's Lens correction I find I have to go back apply it to all my images, Thanks Canon. I started out just using the Canon HDR program then moved to Photomatix (the greatest) and now The Nik Software well the best but pp time is really increased BUT the results... do I have to say more.

on May 27, 2013No No, First time playing with Nik Software and dust removal with Lightroom do not like to Photoshop BUT there are tools and to delete a image due to dust well. HDRi and Dust bunnies just go hand in hand. I have cleaned and have had my camera cleaned but no matter there is a bunny in the image I want to use and I always have to settle for a lesser one this and the moonrise in Helen Ga. are the first to use that tool.
