Hanna Park
HDR Hanna Park Jacksonville Florida. A evening at the beach listening to the surf while a winter storm comes in from the west. Canon T2i. I was out with the wife for an evening meal and a little grocery shopping when I noticed the cloud formations and it was about 5 pm, I had my camera with me so instead of taking a left and heading home I took a right and went to Hanna Park and went looking for something at the beach. I found these twin gazebos on the ocean with a walkway to the beach. The sun was just setting behind me with some great lighting in the sky. I took only an hour but saw down the beach the lifeguard headquarters. It is difficult to leave but the wife was in the car reading. I packed up and was leaving but wanted to checkout the lifeguard HQ and while there the sky just lit up with color. So I quickly unpacked and ran around with the tripod and camera finding places to photograph from only had 30 min before the light left so again with the wife in the car reading I took some more. And I will tell you you never know what you have captured till you put it into processing. I just use Photomatix no Photoshop or other noise reduction software can not really afford so I make do. It is HDR but I like the fusion better it is more natural.

Sunset Twin Shelters Hanna Park. Nik HDR Pro 2. One extreme to another what you see what you feel while developing just like the film days but without the chemicals even though some may think there are chemicals somewhere. The deal is get the light you can harness from the tools you have. But remember there is no light behind me to brighten anything up it is what is in the raw files that you can extract and what you think you really saw. I know I saw this not what is to the left, ya just can not fake it the raw files do not lie.
