Moon in Storm Clouds over Fort George Inlet A1A. Out scouting a good location for the moonrise at sunset in anticipation of the super moon next month. With the setting sun behind just below the horizon the clouds really looked like they were aglow from within. I drove up A1A and saw the most perfect rainbow below this cloud formation but there were two supply ships waiting to go up river and it was just too greyish and 10 minutes later on my return down A1A the clouds were glowing to my left and a roadside turn around to my right. Lucky to the fact when am driving around at sunset I keep my camera setup on the tripod with the AEB bracketing already set up in AV mode and my Circular Polarizer pretuned for proper contrast in my backseat. The glow off the trees may only last 10 min. so you have to be prepared at sunset Nik HDR Pro 2, Canon T2i 18-55mm.

on February 17, 2021I really like the chairs on the beach facing the Milky Way. Great composition. Even the ripples in the sand cooperate as leading lines to the chair facing skyward. Excellent story here. Impressive sky.
