The Bluebird of Happiness
A beloved icon from the 1940s was restored by a motel in Vilano Beach, St. Augustine, Florida and now on the old A1A bridge from Vilano Beach to St. Augustine. Originally an orange bird promoting oranges, it was purchased by the wife of a motel owner, painted blue and transformed into the Bluebird of Happiness. Was along A1A greeting visitors' to Florida.
