HDR. St. Mary's Ga. A dinner date at the Greek Riverside Cafe allows for a sunset photo opportunity every time. There is no Photoshopping or noise reduction just plain HDR with three photos combined in Photomatix and playing with the sliders, some are just adjusted fusion. With sunsets everyone looks at the sun but it is the glow of light behind them they miss.

on February 16, 2013Yes HDR! Long exposure times but content is what is all about. the reflection of light off the water up into the rafters just cried to me "capture me please so I'll last forever. St. Mary's built these very sturdy covered viewing decks with monster wooden stanchions with eye catching grains that scream to be photographed. I shot all these out door shots in less than an hour just walking from spot to spot with no preplaning. I always just go with the flow during the golden hour besides it was 45 degrees and very crisp and dry with a small breeze great for sunset photos.
